Q | What are the most popular items on your menu? Why?
A | Our most popular menu items include the Baked Cheese Fondue which features local bread and honey and our NY Strip and Ribeye which is served with our house made steak seasoning. The Tavern Salad is enjoyed by many guests and of course the Chocolate Cake is a classic.
Q | Are there any items that are NOT on your menu that are staff favorites (that you’d be willing to serve up to any customer who asked)?
A | The shrimp bisque is near and dear to Chef Jeff’s heart as he has been perfecting it for over a decade and our staff loves it too. We do feature it as a soup of the day for our guests from time to time.
Q | Each Cameron Mitchell Restaurants concept is so different. What does The Avenue bring to the table (pun intended) in terms of cuisine and style?
A | We offer a classic steakhouse menu in a comfortable, approachable tavern atmosphere. The entrees include a Tavern or Caesar salad and our steaks and chops include both a salad and guests choice of side dish.
Q | The Avenue has been described as a “throwback.” Why?
A | The Avenue achieves a classic steakhouse look and feel with décor featuring dark wood and red leather booths with intimate lighting. The music is a lively mix of big band jazz, and the menu is inspired by simpler times.
