Q | What are the most popular items on your menu? Why?
A | The Zinger, Special Green, and our summer specials are our top-selling juices.
Q | Are there any items NOT on your menu that are staff favorites (that you’d be willing to serve up to any customer who asked)?
A | You can customize your juices with our add-ins! (See photo.) Also, people were coming in so often to add our Almond Milk to One Line’s coffee that we just decided to put it on the menu!
Q | What does “cold pressed” mean?
A | Cold pressed means that there is no oxidation or heat involved with the juicing process. Juicing at home (unless you’ve purchased a $4,000 juicer) exposes fruits and veggies to lots of air and heat, therefore breaking down the nutrients in the juice. Pasteurization (what they do to juice sold in grocery stores) kills all the bacteria, but it also kills all the nutrients. That means that grocery store juices are basically just sugar water. As for shelf life, homemade juices have the shortest shelf life, Native’s juices last a bit longer, and store-bought juices last the longest.
Q | You seem to make juice available at a lot of yoga events. Where can we find out about dates and locations?
A | We post the information on Facebook and Instagram ahead of time. Our monthly event is Yoga Brunch, but we’re involved with other events as well.
Did you know Native caters?! Definitely going to remember this!
