Q | What is the most popular item on your menu?
A | They change seasonally, but this time of year, it’s the iced coffee.
Q | Are there any items NOT on your menu that are staff favorites (that you’d be willing to serve up to any customer who asked)?
A | Lots of people order a Cubano, which is not on our menu, but we’re happy to oblige.
Q | Pour-over drip brewing has become very popular in recent years. Can you speak to this a little? Is the quality of the coffee actually better?
A | One of the quotes we keep on our wall (pictured below) is by David Schomer. He’s inspired a lot of folks to take the time to figure out the science of making the best coffee they possibly can. Pour-overs allow coffee makers to experiment with grind, water, and time (all essential elements to making a great cup of coffee). We also source our coffee from one place, which helps customers enjoy the nuance of each different method while one variable stays constant.
Q | The Mission Cold Brew bike looks awesome. Do you attend local events? What about private events?
A | We do both! We’ve attended farmers markets this year as well as Comfest and some other local events. We’re also available for private events – just reach out!
In the 10 years I’ve been a coffee drinker, never (and I mean NEVER) have I enjoyed coffee without sugar to balance the bitter flavor…until today. The latte is truly magnificent.
