Q | What are the most popular items on your menu? Why?
A | Bavarian Pretzel Bites are very popular because they pair so well with beer…and they are served with 2 very addictive sauces: roasted garlic and ale mustard. Another favorite is the Ahi Tuna Flatbread. The flatbread has amazing Asian-inspired flavors including miso, sesame, and soy and is topped with beautiful slices of seared Tuna with a sesame crust. It looks as good as it tastes! Our steaks are also a crowd favorite; they gain great flavor from our amazing steak rub and are prepared in broilers that cook at very high temperatures. The natural juices are sealed inside the steaks so they have a fantastic sear on the exterior and amazing juicy steak inside. How can you beat a steakhouse steak at Tavern prices?

Q | Are there any items NOT on your menu that are staff favorites (that you’d be willing to serve up to any customer who asked)?
A | Our chefs work with the motto “if we have it, we will make it!”

Q | Every time I talk to someone (anyone!) about Matt the Miller’s, they always say, “Oh my gosh, have you had the Bavarian Pretzel Bites?!” What makes them so delish?
A | What is not to like about a golden brown pretzel bite that is warm and soft inside?! Pair that with 2 housemade sauces (roasted garlic and ale mustard) and you have a crowd favorite.

Q | I’ve heard your brunch is epic, but sadly I’ve never been. What are the details to lure me in?! :)
A | Epic is a great way to describe our brunch. Our $16.95 brunch buffet starts at 10am and runs through 2:30pm. Brunch starts with traditional breakfast favorites like scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, eggs benedict, made-to-order omelettes and waffles, plus loads of fresh fruit. Once you have your breakfast fill, you can go back to the buffet for some lunch favorites like oven baked ham, scalloped potatoes, veggie pasta or a sampling of our flatbreads. Of course everybody has to finish with dessert! We offer an assortment of dessert bites including an awesome chocolate mousse. The Sunday Buffet also features a Crimson Cup coffee bar for $2.95 with 3 flavors of coffee and assorted creamers. Probably the most important part of any epic brunch is the Bloody Mary. MTM offers a build your own Bloody Mary for $7. We use Ultimat Vodka and let guests build their version of the perfect Bloody Mary with an amazing assortment of sauces, juices, spices, and garnishes.

Q | You have a pretty comprehensive list of various happy hour specials. What’s the best deal you’ve got?
A | I think our guests may all answer that question a bit differently. For me, a $5 half flatbread and a $5 martini hits the spot! In addition to Happy Hour we offer 2 for Tuesday, Wine Down Wednesday, and Ladies Night on Thursday. All 3 of these promotions feature fantastic deals as well.
