Q | What are the most popular items on your menu? Why?
A | The most popular soup is the Lemongrass Soup, which has been on the menu since day one when we opened 17 years ago. It’s a little spicy and perfect for winter time or getting over a cold/flu. Even when it’s not cold it’s a downright amazing soup and a healthy choice. The best salad is the Peanut Chicken Salad; a perfect meal for light eaters and people who are more cautious about what they eat. It comes with peanuts and our sate sauce made from real peanut butter. A favorite appetizer is the Tuna Tar Tar, which is a newer item that’s been a big hit. It’s served with mangoes, avocados, and a citrus sauce. Once you try it, you’ll be hooked for sure! Our most popular entree is the Pad Thai. It is the number one seller and what we seem to be known for. I’ve heard we even have the best pad thai in town!
 
Q | Are there any items NOT on your menu that are staff favorites (that you’d be willing to serve up to any customer who asked)?
A | All of the staff favorites are on our menu! (Best of the Menu note: I’d ask for the peanut sate sauce on EVERYTHING if I were you!)
 
Q | Tell me more about your fusion menu. What exactly does “fusion” mean? (I already know, but I have to ask questions I think my readers may want to know!)
A | Fusion is described as combining two or more things into a new whole. That’s exactly what we do with our food, menu, and concept. We combine different elements of food to make a single entree and we provide different regions of food as a whole at Lemongrass. For example, we serve Pad Thai which is a Thai dish and we also serve Sushi which is Japanese. We combine different elements and ingredients from different cultures to form a new single menu item such as the Two Face Tofu: we take a block of tofu, cut it half, and do a Chinese-style sear to make it crispy, then we drizzle an Asian-style dark sauce with mushrooms and spinach. On the other half, we do a Mediterranean tomato-based sauce.
 
Q | I’m a sucker for a good Happy Hour. Tell me about this Happy Hour at Lemongrass that happens TWICE every weekday evening!
A | Our happy hour is Monday through Friday from 3pm – 7pm and 9pm to close in the bar area. Happy Hour includes specials on select sushi, appetizers, cocktails, beer, wine, and sake.
