Q | What are the most popular items on your menu? Why?
A | Our best-selling truffles are the Velvet Elvis Truffle (peanut butter, banana and bacon…enough said), Andrea’s Cupcake Truffle (tastes like vanilla birthday cake festively rolled in rainbow sprinkles), and the OYO Bourbon Truffle (a milk chocolate shell filled with locally-distilled OYO Bourbon – it’s like a mini shot because it bursts when you bite down!). The best-selling cocktails are the Pink Orchid (fresh squeezed lemon juice, Absolut Raspberry vodka, St. Germaine, rose-infused simple syrup, and raw sugar on the rim), which is tart and fresh – a great summer cocktail, and the S’more’s Martini (Drambuie, Fluff Marshmallow Vodka, Godiva Chocolate Liqueur, half and half, and a torched marshmallow rim – because why not?).
Q | Are there any items NOT on your menu that are staff favorites (that you’d be willing to serve up to any customer who asked)?
A | Since we make our truffles off site, it’s a little difficult to be spontaneous. Some of our staff’s favorite truffles are the Lavender Fleur De Sel Caramel (gooey caramel flavored with lavender flowers, wrapped in a bittersweet dark chocolate shell with dried lavender flowers on top), the PB&J Truffle (milk chocolate surrounding a creamy peanut butter layer topped with strawberry preserves), and the Tipsy Apple Pie Truffle (a milk chocolate shell filled with locally-made Brothers Drake Apple Pie Mead). My personal favorite cocktail is the Tessora Limoncello smoothie. Tessora Limoncello (also made locally!), OYO Vodka, freshly-squeezed lemon juice blended over ice and topped with our fresh whipped cream – I have served them to some local/regular guests and they all loved it! It’s a grown up milkshake with local flair!
Q | A place that carries all things chocolate is my kind of spot! What are some of the more unique chocolate items you have?
A |Our most unique items would have to be the Blue Cheese Truffle (milk chocolate outside, blue cheese milk chocolate ganache topped with a pureed layer of fig, honey and walnuts), the Sweet Ginger (dark chocolate ganache steeped with fresh ginger, topped with a piece of candied ginger), the Devil’s Desire (dark or white chocolate filled with a sweet white or smooth chocolate ganache flavored with CaJohn’s Ghost Chili Pepper – another local item!), and the Jack and Coke (milk chocolate shell filled with a tiny shot of Jack Daniels flavored with a splash of cola).
Q | What’s your favorite chocolate cocktail at the moment?
A | I’d have to say the Chocolate Covered Pretzel Martini – it’s a raw sugar/salt rim, Cake Vodka, Hazelnut Liqueur, cream and chocolate sauce. It’s sweet and salty and creamy…kind of like an adult chocolate milk!
Q | Do you make anything special for Easter?
A | We make a lot of special Easter treats. Our Nutella truffle only comes out for Easter in adorable bunny form. We do a Velveteen Elvis Rabbit, a raspberry rabbit, a peanut butter crunch bunny, and dark orange rabbit. We also feature crème brulee eggs and limoncello chicks. We have large, molded, rainbow-splattered bunnies; huge silver- and gold-glittered floppy ear bunnies (about a pound of chocolate, each measuring about 10″x10″), some small Easter chicks and a deliciously large gold and green turtle.

Truffles: (l. to r., top to bottom) Jack and Coke, Tipsy Apple Pie, Lavender Fleur de Sel Caramel, Lavender, Velvet Elvis, PB+J
