Q | What are the most popular items on your menu? Why?
A | Our most popular specialty dog is the Fire Eater. It consists of a 1/5 lb buttermilk fried Ohio Proud chicken brat, with a house-made sriracha buffalo sauce, blue cheese aioli, shaved celery and red onion on a locally-baked Challah bun. Who doesn’t love the idea of a deep fried hot dog?!

Q | Are there any items NOT on your menu that are staff favorites (that you’d be willing to serve up to any customer who asked)?
A | We do not have loaded tots on our menu, but some of regulars order them and they are a huge hit. The most popular would definitely be chili cheese tots!

Q | For those who are used to the traditional ketchup and mustard on a regular old hot dog, which item on your menu would really wow them?
A | The Thrill Seeker is my personal favorite dog and one of our more unique creations. It features a 1/5 lb Ohio Proud pork brat with crispy shaved Brussels Sprouts, Granny Smith apples, our honey-wholegrain aioli and shaved celery on a locally-baked seeded Challah bun. Not very many people are used to seeing Brussels and apples on a hot dog.

Q | Why “Daredevil?” Is there a story behind the name?
A | Our name has several meanings. First off, we are three younger guys who really believe in our business and our community. We thought that we were taking a risk and being daring trying to open our own place. That is one of the reasons our motto is ‘Be Daring’. Also, we want our guests to ‘Be Daring’ when they order food as it might not be exactly what they are used to.

I ate the tots. They were life-changing, as you can imagine.
