Q | What are the most popular items on your menu? Why?
A | We’re located on High Street, right across from south campus, so we have a lot of students coming in for pizza. Since we are a build-your-own pizza restaurant, there are always unique combinations of ingredients. However, everyone seems to love putting artichokes, basil, and spinach on their pizzas! Loading up on the proteins is popular as well.
 
Q | Are there any items NOT on your menu that are staff favorites (that you’d be willing to serve up to any customer who asked)?
A | We’ve got everything we love right in front of you – just choose your favorites! We’d also be happy to assist if you have questions about which flavors go especially well together.
 
Q | Although the concept of Blaze Pizza is generally to build your own pizza, I’ve got to admit that the signature pizzas look pretty mind-blowing! What’s your favorite?
A | My favorite has to be the BBQ CHKN pizza…and I like to add gorgonzola!
 
Q | Do you ever introduce new or seasonal ingredients/toppings?
A | We’re always on the lookout for local or seasonal ingredients that fit with the local scene. The best way to keep up with all things Blaze Pizza is to follow us on social media, including our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.
 
Q | You offer items such as gluten-free crust, vegan cheese, and tons of veggies. Sounds like you’ve got everyone covered that could possibly walk in the door! What else makes Blaze Pizza so special?
A | You got it when it comes to having everyone covered! One additional cool element of Blaze is our eco-friendliness. Some specifics on that:

  • The drink cups and pizza box suppliers are certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative
  • The paper pizza liners and S’more Pie bags that we use are compostable
  • Drink cup lids and salad dressing cups/lids are made from plant-based material (vs. petroleum-based) and are compostable
  • Our salad boxes are made from recycled drinking water bottles
  • Cutlery is all made from post-consumer materials

Pro tip: adding too many topings (especially meats) will cause the bottom of the pizza to burn. Adding too many veggies will cause the pizza to be soggy (I can totally vouch because I’m always like “load me up on all the veggies!”…oops). If you want a perfect pie, you can’t go wrong by choosing a pizza from their signature menu!
