Q | What are the most popular items on your menu? Why?
A | Most popular are the grilled mahi tacos and I think it’s because they’re a unique item not offered at too many places.
Q | Are there any items NOT on your menu that are staff favorites (that you’d be willing to serve up to any customer who asked)?
A | We’re still perfecting our current (opening) menu. Feedback is always encouraged and welcome!
Q | Your menu has awesome appetizers, tacos, and cocktails – just as I’d expect! But what about these Balboa Bowls I’m seeing?! What sparked the idea for those?
A | I saw these bowls done at a cool spot in SoCal and Tampa actually. I wanted to do something that kept people coming back and essentially keeps the menu fresh. There are lots of possibilities with the build your own bowl option and it’s been pretty popular.
Q | Bruch is coming (June 1!) – can you tell us anything about it?
A | It’s really still in early stages of development. We’ve been lucky to be much busier than initially expected, so we’re still focusing on our main menu. Stay tuned though!
I’ve been to Balboa twice since it opened 10 days ago if that tells you anything :)
